So I've been carving a print for the last few days and I just printed it yesterday. Here it is:
Sorry about the somewhat crappy picture; I'll get a better one at some point. I'm thinking of coloring one of them with watercolor, so if that happens, I'll post it here as well. To be honest, I'm getting a bit crazy having not done much 3D work recently. As soon as possible I'm going to start working on one or two more dolls; the steampunk iPod has fallen by the wayside, but will happen eventually. If you're into that kind of thing, I found one the other day that you can see here that incorporates the gramophone like I wanted mine to...awesome! On Friday I'll also post some costume designs I had to do for the play Medea. Stay tuned!

I'm drawn to the black and white, it really brings out that old safari feel to it, Though if I did see it colored I would expect a bunch of browns and what not.
ReplyDeleteI ADORE the tiger in the cage at the top, that's my favorite...but you can't have a journey without a jellyfish can you?
hehe amazing work as always.
